Thailand Retirement Visa 2024

The Thailand Retirement Visa is created for individuals who want to spend their golden years in Thailand and are 50 years of age or older.

Financial Requirements: The applicants generally need to demonstrate financial stability through one of the following methods:

• Maintain a Thai bank account with a minimum balance of THB 800,000.
• Verify a monthly income of at least THB 65,000 through an income affidavit from your embassy in Bangkok.
• Combine both methods, ensuring the total of your bank account and annual income equals THB 800,000.

Document Requirements:

• Ensure your passport remains valid for at least one year before expiration.
• If applying for a visa within Thailand, provide evidence of accommodation.
• Submit a bank statement as proof of funds.
• Acquire annual health insurance, as required by certain Thai embassies or consulates abroad.
• Retain the nationality or permanent residency of the country where you’re applying for the visa.

Documents to Apply Non-Immigrant O Extension Requirements:

• Provide a copy of all pages of your signed passport.
• Sumit the Non-Immigrant O Visa.
• Include the TM30 receipt.
• Verify  compliance with financial requirements by presenting a bank statement  indicating income.
• Acquire an Income Certificate from the Thai embassy corresponding to your nationality.
• Present the original Thai Bank Book reflecting your deposit account.
• Include a signed letter from your Thai bank, certifying the account.
• Submit three recent 4×5 cm photos with a full-face view taken within the last 6 months.
• Submit proof of a persent permanent accommodation in Thailand, such as a lease or rental agreement.

Duration:The Thailand Retirement Visa 2024 initially permits a one-year stay, to be renewed annually.
