The Thailand Longstay Visa is categorized as a Non-Immigrant “B-Longstay” visa and is granted for either 9 or 12 months, depending on the documents provided in the application. The applicant initially applies for a 90-day visa, so the total length of stay the applicant will obtain as part of the Longstay Visa process is either 12 or 15 months. The visa is renewable on an annual basis for durations of 12 months at a time.
